Jessica Shares Behind-The-Scenes Content For Her EP Release
The 44-year-old has been especially active on social media over the last month after releasing her long-awaited EP, Nashville Canyon: Part 1, which includes five tracks written and sung by her. It's her first time releasing music after a 17-year-long hiatus, and it was released on March 21st.
Jessica took a break from being a full-time recording artist after getting married to her now ex-husband, Eric Johnson, whom she split from in January, and becoming a mother to their three children, Maxwell, Ace, and Birdie.
In anticipation of her new music, the Newlyweds star posted a lot more content on social media, including photos and videos of her in the studio, recording her EP, and talking about her creative process.
"I chose to be empowered by a broken heart throughout the writing process," wrote Jessica in the caption of one of her Instagram posts.
As exciting as it was to see the musician doing what she loves, all of the new promotional photos and posts have made it difficult to ignore her latest beauty treatments.
Fans Call Out Jessica's Big Lips On Social Media
The Dukes Of Hazzard actress has made some notable changes to her look over the last few years, including a drastic weight loss, which some people speculated was due to taking drugs like Ozempic, but she denied those claims.
Another significant change to her appearance includes her lips, which are much larger and poutier than they have been in the past. As Jessica continued to promote her new album on social media with new content, her followers left numerous comments regarding her changing face.
"She's got to stop messing with her lips," commented a follower on one of her Instagram reels. "I love you, but leave your lips alone," added another.
Another follower asked the singer if she had been stung by a bee, because her lips looked extremely puffy, and an additional commenter wrote that she was "beautiful before getting fillers."
"Too much filler," wrote a follower. "It's distracting."
Not all of the comments on the singer's latest posts are entirely negative, as many are excited to enjoy her new music, and have written that they are "proud" of her. Still, it's clear that several internet users are having a hard time focusing on the EP when Jessica looks quite different these days.
