Joe Biden Struggles To Pronounce 'America'
Last month, Joe Biden became the first president, past or present, to not only attend an LGBTQ+ Victory Institute event, but also became the first to be honored with the Chris Abele Impact Award. While in office, Biden championed LGBTQ+ rights and inclusion, which the organization honored with an award on December 5th, 2025.
In his acceptance speech, the 83-year-old tripped over the word, "America." The moment came at the conclusion of his speech, when he spoke about the importance of continuing to stand up for the rights of minority groups in the face of the current administration trying to minimize them. "So long as we keep the faith, summon hope, get back up and remember who in hell we are. We’re the United States of America," he said.

Social Media Reactions
Across social media platforms, users rushed to defend Biden from the harsh critics. On Instagram, one user wrote, "Leave this man alone and focus on the dementia that's in charge now."
"Still a million times better than what we have now..." another user said. "Props, Joe."
"He said it fine," another added. "I would take President Biden in hospice over the Don regime."
"At least he's awake, not calling women 'piggy' and pardoning drug kingpins," pointed out a fourth person.
"At least he can get a complete sentence out without insulting half of this country," agreed the next person."
"We love him and miss him!" a final user said. "A true leader."
