A-lister Julia Roberts is known for her acting talents and effortlessly glam red carpet style-she is the original “Pretty Woman” after all!
We’re never surprised to see her rock designer duds, but our jaws dropped when her sixteen-year-old daughter, Hazel Moder, showed up at Cannes Film Festival, looking like a million bucks. Julia and her husband, Danny Moder, are notoriously private (especially when it comes to their kids), so Hazel’s red carpet turn is a rare appearance.
Last we saw Hazel, she was just a fresh-faced kid, but her latest public showing proves that she’s all grown up and sporting a very different look these days.

At Cannes, Hazel was accompanied by her cinematographer father, where they both attended the screening of Sean Penn’s new thriller, “Flag Day.” In honor of the occasion, Hazel wore a pale yellow lace shirt dress and chunky Mary Janes. Pulling her blond hair into a ponytail, she kept her makeup simple, flashing the cameras a megawatt smile. (We can definitely see that she’s her mother’s daughter!)

The Cannes debut is a big deal for Hazel, who has stayed out of the spotlight thus far. She had a minor role in Julia’s 2016 romantic comedy “Mother’s Day,” but isn’t exactly an active fixture in the Hollywood circuit.
Instead, she and her twin brother Phinnaeus-and their younger brother Henry-had a refreshingly normal childhood growing up at the family’s ranch in Taos, New Mexico.

But something tells us this is far from Hazel’s first major fashion moment. According to People, Julia’s only daughter is also set to inherit her famous mom’s vintage collection.
Explaining that she has “many many pieces” set aside for her oldest daughter, the “Eat, Pray, Love” star told the outlet, “I have this little space in my house that my husband refers to as the heritage collection. Things I go, ‘I can’t get rid of [this], what about Hazel?”
(Does that mean we’ll see Hazel in Julia’s famous Valentino gown next?)

When she’s not cropping up at Cannes, Hazel has showed up on her dad’s Instagram page, flaunting a much more dressed-down look. Last year, Danny shared a selfie where his daughter mugged for the camera underneath a straw sun hat.
“The Day Of the Daughter,” he wrote. “So lucky this girl is my daughter…and that she takes these awesome selfies on my phone. Staying gnarly.”
It’s nice to see that he’s proud of Hazel-whether she’s making waves in the fashion world or not.
