We had to do a triple take when we scrolled through Instagram and saw a radiant bare-faced blonde beauty before us, because we never would have guessed that the blue-eyed stunner staring back at us was none other than Julianne Hough. We were left almost speechless when we saw the former Dancing with the Stars pro without makeup on, and were completely taken aback by her natural beauty. She is absolutely glowing – where has she been hiding this stunning face?!

The 33-year-old dancer – who is also a very successful singer and songwriter – shared two makeup-free pictures of herself to her Instagram grid on Sunday September 26, telling her followers about how she likes to go on solo retreats in order to "unplug" from the world for a few days. "One of my tried-and-true ways to create the space for that shift is to unplug for a few days on a solo retreat," she wrote as part of the caption to the pictures that showed off her enviable, dewy complexion.
"On retreat, I find solace in stillness and silence," she continued. "I practice rituals and cleansing activities that bring my body and mind into balance. I spend time with myself and sit with thoughts that life normally tries to bury or brush aside. This recent retreat felt like a total system reset. Coming off of a powerful full moon and autumn equinox, we are in a potent time to reset and get clear on intentions for the new season. Can you gift yourself an hour, a day, a week - whatever you can - to be with yourself this weekend? Journal, take a bath, try breath work… or @kinrgy do what you need to do to heal today."
While a lot of the Instagram comments were in reference to her caption about self care, many of the others couldn’t help but focus on Hough's glow, with many people using words like "gorgeous" and "beautiful" to describe her natural pictures. One user said, "Jules you are glowing girly!!!" paired with a heart eyes emoji (we couldn't agree more--her skin is glowing. What's your routine, girl?!). Others noted how incredibly bright her signature blue eyes look in the pic, with one fan noting, "What a beautiful eyes you have." "IM OBSESSED WITH YOUR EYES," agreed another. Seriously--have her eyes always been that shade??
We're used to seeing Hough with quite a fair bit of make-up on, especially when she was on ABC's hit dancing show, as it involved hours in the hair and makeup chair, not to mention having to receive several coats of spray tan before each show. However, we could get used to seeing her sporting this much more natural look. She has absolutely nothing to hide, and appears to have a flawless, smooth, and blemish free face. We would go easy on the makeup if we had her skin, too!
