Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively may have settled their highly-publicized legal dispute, but it still seems to be on everyone’s minds, as some social media users think Justin’s wife, Emily Baldoni, may have subtly referenced it while celebrating their 13th wedding anniversary on Instagram.

Emily, 41, shared a black and white photograph from their wedding day with him lifting her up and kissing her, with the caption: “Marriage: still my favorite lift. Thirteen, baby!!” Fans quickly connected the use of the word “lift” to one of the most talked-about details from the legal battle between the two It Ends With Us stars.

The lawsuit, which has since been settled, included claims surrounding the filming of a scene which included Baldoni, 42, lifting Lively, 38, up. According to reports, court filings stated that Baldoni – who has a documented history of chronic lower back issues – asked their shared on-set personal trainer how much Lively weighed so he could train appropriately and perform the scripted lift safely.

Justin Baldoni And Wife Emily Baldoni Celebrate Their 13th Wedding Anniversary

On Monday, July 27th, the couple, who share 11-year-old daughter Maiya Grace and 8-year-old son Maxwell Roland-Samuel, posted heartfelt tributes to one another alongside throwback pictures from their wedding day on Instagram.

Alongside a picture of the pair dancing at their wedding, Baldoni wrote: "13 years later… we're still dancing." He added a red heart emoji before joking: "I'm pretty sure this was the exact moment my pants ripped open." He finished the post with a crying laughing emoji and the hashtag "#FinallyTeenagers."

One year earlier, he shared another wedding photo of the two embracing, with his eyes closed and Emily smiling. He captioned it: "I'd marry you again and again and again and again… Happy anniversary my love. T W E L V E." He also finished the post with a red heart emoji.

While Justin's anniversary post didn't appear to reference the Age of Adaline actress or their legal dispute, many social media users believed Emily's choice of the word "lift" was an intentional nod to the controversy surrounding the lawsuit.

Internet Reactions

"She's a savage with the play-on words," one person wrote in the comments. "I bet you this lift did not hurt his back!" quipped a second. "I see what you did there," wrote a third, followed by two crying laughing emojis.

"So glad that you put Madam Lively in her rightful place! Good on you," wrote a fourth on Justin's post, as a fifth wrote: "Now *this* is actual true love. Those other two clowns will never in a million years have what you two have. Happy anniversary to you both!" The user was seemingly referencing Blake and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, who have been accused of posting PDA pictures as a way to distract people from fallout from the lawsuit.

The comments continued over on a People article. "What a gorgeous couple. They look genuinely in love. No staged photos necessary," wrote one reader, also saying the same thing.

"Justice for Justin and Emily! Queen!" exclaimed a second, as a third wrote: "I am so happy for them. After what Blake and Ryan put them through, they deserve some peace. Justice for Justin." "Congratulations on 13 years! Keep holding onto each other, life is a rollercoaster as you well know!" added a fourth. "She's so much prettier than Blake!" thought a fifth.

Justin Baldoni And Emily Baldoni Break Their Two-Year Silence On The Lawsuit

Justin and Emily spoke out about the "painful" lawsuit on Wednesday, July 8th, in a video shared to both of their Instagram accounts, marking one of the first times the actor has spoken about it publicly in two years. He said he was grateful to all his followers, supporters, friends, and family who helped him and his wife over the last two years, although he noted that the experience did leave them both with lasting trauma.

"[It] doesn't negate the injustice and the pain that we have also felt in the last few years," Emily said in the video. "We've had to wrestle with so many things and try to understand so many things, like how could something like this even happen? Let alone disguised as a fight for women. So much to unpack."

"We don't even know if this is the right thing to say," Justin continued. "We just know we need to share something. What I will say is that there have been so many painful things that have been spoken into existence over the last couple of years. That created so much noise, and we didn't want to add to the noise. So we just wanted to let the justice system run its course."

He went on to say: "We are healing. If you've ever been through something traumatic, you know that healing isn't linear. It looks different every day. We have had to rethink for ourselves what is real and what matters. It's this. It's our family, it's our friends, it's our community, who have been there for us, it's our faith."
