It’s official! Kanye West, 44 and model and influencer Chaney Jones, 24 are an item. The two first sparked dating rumors last month after being spotted on dinner dates in Miami and as of now, the couple both confirmed their romance via Instagram. Jones snapped a selfie posing with the famous rapper and uploaded it to her story on with a black heart emoji.
West (legally known as Ye) followed soon after, screenshotting an article about the two’s rumored relationship and shared it in a (now-deleted) post last week. He captioned it also with a black heart. Jones then commented, “my love” with yet again a black heart and fingers crossed emoji.

While some of West’s fans are happy for him and his new girlfriend, others have been commenting on his posts that seeing someone else feels “too soon,” considering he and actress Julia Fox only split weeks ago after dating for a month. Not to mention, during this relationship with Jones and even with Fox prior, West has seemed to publicly vow to get his ex Kim Kardashian “back” and made threats toward her new beau, Pete Davidson. It’s all truly hard to keep up with.
Other fans have noted how similar Jones and Kardashian look— from their long, raven locks and beautiful faces to their curve-hugging outfits to their Instagram posts and poses. “Kanye definitely has a type,” wrote one Twitter user (where this whole debacle is being commented on and debated). Another added, “Kanye wants Kim back so bad he found a lookalike because he misses her.”

Since many fans don’t know too much about Jones other than the fact that she is a model, she aimed to clear the air on her personal social media. The musician’s new flame shared a (since deleted) post introducing herself to her new followers—since dating West undeniably put her more into the spotlight. She titled her message, “Some facts about me” and shared that she is currently getting her master’s degree studying counseling with a 4.0 GPA and added other career information, like how she is the COO of a behavioral health organization.

She also listed other personal facts, like her mixed ancestry and expressed that she has “never had surgery on her face” but did explain that she got a Brazilian butt lift (often abbreviated as BBL). In the Instagram story that followed the post, she shared a photo of her modeling a bathing suit and wrote, “I think I was 20 here. This was before my BBL. Same face, same nose lol I’ve never been in denial about surgery and to answer everyone’s questions yes I had a BBL but I’ve always been thick before surgery.”
West continues to share cryptic Instagram updates on his pursuit of Kardashian and “getting their family back together” as well as attacks on Davidson in music videos, posts, etc. Some fans (especially after the whirlwind romance with Fox) don’t know how long his relationship with Jones will last. The one thing we all seem to know about West and Jones is that they are confirmed to be dating!
