The actress arrived at the event in a show-stopping Roberto Cavalli mini dress that featured an insanely plunging neckline and showed off her toned legs. She paired the daring ensemble with Jimmy Choo shoes as she posted various snaps of herself trying on the outfit and getting ready in the comfort of the luxury residence. However, things didn’t go as planned when she posted the carousel of images on her Instagram. Users flooded her comments on how the post is ‘tone deaf’ and wondered if she was at a fashion event versus a fundraiser for less-fortunate children.

Kate Hudson Slammed For Her Charity Event Fashion Choice
On August 3rd, Kate posted a slideshow of photos onto her Instagram that featured her fashion attire for UNICEF's charity gala. The series of images featured a selfie with Cara Delevingne and close-up shots of her accessories for the event.
Hudson opted to go for a stunning white and silver Roberto Cavalli mini dress that comprised of a deep, plunging v-neckline almost down to her belly button. She accessorized the look with a fringed mini purse and pointed-toe Jimmy Choo pumps with crystal embellishments.
The blonde beauty shared photos of herself trying on the blingy dress in a messy bun and no makeup, but ended up glamming herself up with smokey liner, nude lips, and loose curls for her golden locks.
However, it was her choice of dress that sparked a heated conversation in her comments section. One user wrote, "Sadly, this post is tone deaf.
