In an interview with Elle, Hudson talked a little bit about her movies--and if she has ventured into watching them with her children during isolation.
Hudson insisted that she does not like watching her own movies. She explained, "No. Oh my God. I can't even listen to my voice! I have such a hard time. I'm one of those people that if someone is watching something I'm in, I'm like, turn it off!"
However, now that Ryder is old enough to watch her films, she has made some exceptions.
Hudson explained, "There’s a couple of movies that are fun to watch with the kids. Watching Almost Famous with Ryder was so great. And then Skeleton Key. It's fun to watch it through your kid's eyes because they're able to see these movies now."
Kate's relationship with her oldest son is definitely special since she had him earlier in life.
The actress told InStyle in 2016, "I was really young, like, 23, when I had Ryder. So, our relationship has always been [a little unusual]. I mean, we're close, and I am his mom."
They definitely seem to be close--and we're sure Ryder loves seeing his mom's most famous roles play out on screen.
Hudson's oldest son has been staying with his mom and her boyfriend Danny Fujikawa throughout quarantine.
