Kate Middleton Shares Fourth And Final 'Mother Nature' Video On Her 44th Birthday
In the video – the 'winter' chapter of the series – the Princess of Wales can be seen exploring quintessential English winter scenery. A lot of the footage was reportedly shot during an early-morning walk in Berkshire, where the Prince and Princess of Wales lived with kids Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis at the time. Additional backdrops reportedly came from the Cotswolds, Cumbria, and other parts of the U.K. countryside.
She is wearing an effortlessly chic ensemble in the video, which includes a khaki green Barbour x Alexa Chung 'Elfie' jacket, paired with Penelope Chilvers tassel riding boots.
Underneath the coat, she's wearing a trendy brown Iris & Ink ribbed turtleneck sweater, accessorized with a House of Bruar baker boy hat and a 19-year-old brown and blue Katherine Hooker paisley cashmere scarf, which proves that her enviable wardrobe consists of both new and exciting pieces as well as versatile classics that can be worn again and again.
The Princess Of Wales Reflects On How 'Deeply Grateful' She Is
As part of the voiceover, the Princess of Wales says in the video: "Even in the coldest, darkest season, winter has a way of bringing us stillness, patience and quiet consideration. Where the stream slows just enough for us to see our own reflection. To discover the deepest parts of ourselves. Alongside the whispers in the pulse of every living thing. I find myself reflecting on how deeply grateful I am."
She also adds: "For the rivers within us flow with ease, fears washed away, cleanse and purify. Come to peace with our tears and discover what it means to be alive. To be at one with nature; a quiet teacher and a soft voice that guides. In memory. Helping us to heal."
According to the Daily Mail, an aide described the release as a "culmination of a deeply personal creative project for the Princess, spotlighting humanity's longstanding connection to nature, as well as nature's capacity to inspire us and help us to heal and grow in mind, body and spirit."
