Kate Middleton might be known for her classy style now, but a few years ago the Duchess of Cambridge was less conservative when it came to her clothing.
One mini dress in particular stands out as especially scandalous. While attending the Wildlife Photographer of the Year awards in October 2014, Kate stepped out in a dress that we seriously doubt had the royal stamp of approval. The gown was designed by one of Middleton’s favorite designers, Jenny Packham, and its sexy silhouette definitely got people talking.
Check out the look here!
The icy light blue color looked incredible on the Duchess, complimenting her coloring nicely. However, the really shocking part of the ensemble was the length of her skirt!
Although longer pieces of fabric were draped around the dress, adding to its length on the sides, the dress was definitely shorter than what we are now used to seeing on Kate--reaching well above her knee.
The tight silhouette and short hemline showed off Kate's slim figure and toned legs. Plus, the V-neckline showed off her curves.
Although the Queen might not have approved of this daring look, we definitely do.
With that in mind, keep reading for where you can buy your own version of Kate's bold gown!
