Kate Middleton Reportedly Didn't Like The Way Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Treated Staff
According to excerpts that have been obtained by the Daily Mail and other publications, Myers claims that the Princess of Wales had stepped in to mediate between her husband, Prince William, and his younger brother even before the infamous royal rift fully erupted.
Tensions reportedly escalated after Prince Harry's marriage to Meghan in 2018, with alleged disagreements over staff treatment becoming a major sticking point.
"At first she had thought William and Harry's squabbles were rooted in immaturity or stubbornness, on both sides, but Harry and Meghan's attitude towards palace staff, who she and William cared about, set the couples on an entirely different course," Myers wrote.
Book Claims The Atmosphere Between Prince William, Kate Middleton, Prince Harry, And Meghan Markle Was 'Toxic'
"Following Harry and Meghan's wedding, things were undeniably different. William and Catherine felt the Sussexes had 'an agenda,'" he continued.
"They definitely thought the Sussexes' behavior stemmed from something more than being difficult."
A source quoted in the book paints an even bleaker picture of the atmosphere at the time: "The whole atmosphere between them was pretty toxic."
The source reportedly went on: "Meghan was being bullish, Kate found her abrasive. She saw the inevitability of the parting of ways, although perhaps not to the extent of what eventually happened."
William & Catherine: The Intimate Inside Story will reportedly be released on February 26th. It will be released in the U.S. on March 10th with the name William & Catherine: The Monarchy's New Era: The Inside Story.
