Kate Middleton & Queen Camilla's Bitter Feud
While they certainly keep up appearances for the most part, Kate Middleton and Queen Camilla are so deep into their feud that they reportedly can't "bear to state in the same room as one another." And things are only getting worse.
According to RadarOnline, the drama began with Prince Andrew, or rather, Andrew Mountbatton-Windsor, who the royal family recently stripped of his royal titles. "[Kate] has stood firmly behind William through months of fraught talks and hard choices, and it has weighed heavily on her, and left her in no mood to deal with Camilla," a source explained. "But things have reached such a height, the pair of them can barely bear to stay in the same room as one another."
Andrew's eviction from the Royal Lodge is one of the points of contention. The Royal Lodge is quite close to William and Kate's new home, Forest Lodge, and Camilla believes this to be the reason for Andrew's swift eviction. "In Camilla’s eyes, it comes across as a grab for control," the insider said. "She believes they forced the issue and effectively pushed her out of the process."

What does Kate think about all this? Well, she reportedly believes none of it is true. "She sees the accusations as unjustified and unwarranted. There was no desire to undermine Charles or Camilla at any point," the source said. "Her priority has always been safeguarding the monarchy and her children."
Yet the feud continues. Another big point of contention is the fact that Camilla will be "at the mercy" of Kate once Kate is Queen. "Camilla can gripe all she wants, but there’s no changing the reality that Kate will be queen before too long," another insider shared. "When that happens, Camilla will effectively be at Kate’s mercy in terms of her perks and influence within the Firm."

"It will be hard for her to swallow her pride and accept Kate’s authority, but that’s precisely what she’ll need to do," the source continued. "Especially with preparations already in full swing for the Waleses to enforce their changes to the monarchy even before assuming the throne."
"There's no doubt Camilla is panicked about where she’ll stand in the new scheme of things, but instead of falling into line and respecting Kate, she’s chosen to be extremely petty and territorial," the insider added.
All this has made for some awkward family dinners. "Whenever they share the same space, the tension is palpable," one source noted. "The atmosphere becomes strained, and those around them can sense the unease immediately."
