Any royal occasion could probably be considered a lavish one, but the most recent event at Buckingham Palace—A reception for members of the Diplomatic Corps—saw royals truly step out in their best outfits. Kate Middleton in particular looked absolutely stunning in a sequined gown by Jenny Packham, which she wore with a sparkling tiara.
This event celebrated one of the largest Diplomatic Corps in the world, and allowed for the senior royals to meet representatives of countries accredited to the Court of St. James. Kate Middleton's Shimmering Pink Gown
Kate's Jenny Packham gown has long sleeves with a structured shoulder. Embellished with sparkling flowers near the neckline, it also has a silver belt around the midsection. Kate paired the gown with the Lover's Knot Tiara, and wore her hair in loose waves down her back. Also for jewelry, Kate wore Queen Elizabeth's Chandelier Earrings as well as the Dame Grand Cross of the Royal Victorian Order star and sash.
This is the 11th time that we've seen this tiara from Kate, and was one of Princess Diana's favorite tiaras. It was created back in the 1910s for Queen Mary.
Though this isn't the first time we've seen this look from the Princess of Wales, we will never grow tired of it. Kate donned this same ensemble—tiara and all—in June, for the wedding of Hussein, Crown Price of Jordan and Rajwa Al Saif.

Fans took to social media to compliment the royal's look. "Beautiful gown fit for a true Princess," one user wrote. "Lover's Knot Tiara, loved by Princess Diana becomes a tribute when often worn by daughter in law, Princess Catherine of Wales."
