According to newer reports, the Princess of Wales, 43, is feeling increasing pressure to step up – possibly fueled by criticism that she hasn’t been working enough despite taking several vacations this year – even though she’s still coping with the aftermath of her cancer journey.

The Princess of Wales has been open about her long, slow recovery from cancer, stressing that she planned to ease back into royal life at her own pace. However, insiders are now saying that she is feeling the pressure from both King Charles and the public, which could force her to take on more than she's comfortable with.
"She's under an enormous amount of pressure to work even more, because she doesn't want to let Charles down," an insider spilled to RadarOnline.
"Kate has been easing back in and taking breaks when she needs to, but there's no getting away from the fact that the days are very long," the insider continued.
Many fans are showing their support for the Princess of Wales during this time on social media. "Leave her be, she's got this, it just takes time!" exclaimed one fan on Instagram, as a second said: "Leave the Princess of Wales alone." "Love to Princess Catherine," gushed a third, followed by several red heart emojis, as a fourth said they were "praying for her."
Kate Middleton Admits It's Been 'Really Difficult' Returning To Work After Battling Cancer
The mom-of-three recently admitted that it's been "really difficult" returning to work full time, describing her recovery from cancer as "a roller coaster."
"You put on a sort of brave face, stoicism, through treatment. Treatment's done, and it's like, 'I can crack on, get back to normal again,' but actually that phase afterwards is a really difficult time. You're not able to function normally at home as you were perhaps once used to," the Princess of Wales said during a visit to Colchester Hospital back in July.
"It's a roller coaster. It's not one smooth plain, which you expect it to be, but the reality is it's not," she went on, adding: "It's life-changing for anyone, through first diagnosis or post-treatment and things like that, it is a life-changing experience both for the individual patient but also for the families as well."
"And actually, it sometimes goes unrecognized, you don't necessarily, particularly when it's the first time, you don't appreciate how much impact it is going to have," she added. "You have to find your new normal, and that takes time."
