Last weekend, award season kicked off with the Critics' Choice awards, which celebrate performers and those behind the scenes in the film and television industry, often handing awards to the year's biggest series, movies, and actors.
One of the more notable attendees was none other than Kathy, who attended the ceremony alongside her Matlock co-stars. For the event, she wore a sleek black pantsuit, which she paired with a simple blue-gray top underneath. Her gray locks were chopped into a short, voluminous pixie cut, and she paired the suit with some bedazzled black flats.
Aside from her red carpet appearance, the Misery star also had the award show's audience burst into applause when she participated in a cheeky Marty Supreme-themed bit with host Chelsea Handler.

The 77-year-old's pantsuit made waves not only for its stylishness, but also because it allowed her to flaunt her dramatic weight loss, which she's gradually been working on over the years.
Kathy has become more and more transparent about the way her body has transformed, revealing she struggled with her weight for decades and finally felt the motivation to make a sustainable change when it started getting in the way of her work, as well as when she was diagnosed with diabetes in 2017.
"It scared me straight," she recalled in an interview.
The actress also admitted to using Ozempic as she started losing weight, naturally losing 80 pounds through diet and exercise changes, then taking the GLP-1 medication to lose an extra 20.
"There's been a lot of talk that I just was able to do this because of Ozempic," she told People. "But I have to impress upon people out there that this was hard work for me, especially during the pandemic. It's very hard to say you've had enough."
Fans are certainly noticing Kathy's transformation and cheering her on, especially after seeing her on the Critics' Choice red carpet.
