Katy Perry‘s epic performances stole the show during her Saturday Night Live appearance on January 29th with host Willem Dafoe, as her musical comeback has been long awaited. In the show’s filmed promo clip the day before, all eyes were on the singer’s killer curves in her black, transparent, Mugler-designed catsuit that she shared to Instagram. All we can say is wow!

Perry, 37, last appeared on the show in 2017 and made her return to the set in this plunging monochromatic ensemble with intricate mesh cut-outs, showing off her toned midriff. A sexy zipper in the center drew attention to her slim waistline in the all-black, gothic-inspired get-up. Perry is a die-hard fan of the late designer Thierry Mugler who passed away last month, and this elegant look paid homage to him.

She further amped up her edgy suit with chain metal dangly earrings and her long raven tresses fell in loose curls. She donned a glamorous, scarlet-red lip, looking reminiscent of Morticia Addams or Elvira, Mistress of the Dark, especially with her sultry pose. Another highlight was her French-manicured nails, complete with matching crimson tips.

The singer captioned her post, “hold on to ur W.I.G,” referencing her infectious new dance-pop single, “When I’m Gone.” Naturally, these photos garnered over 1 million likes. Overall, we’re so here for more music from Perry and head-turning yet classy outfits like these!
