After teasing brunette photos over the months on Instagram but posting as a blonde until her 37th birthday on October 25, it seems that Perry has officially made the leap back to the drama of darker locks after sharing a reel of her transformation. Captioning the video “Choose ur player: what color would you choose?” Perry showed off her initial wavy blonde bob before transitioning to long brunette extensions.
The singer then doubled down on the change, sharing a video of her stylist applying dye to her blonde locks as she looked on in awe. Perry then posed with the final product after sweeping her raven locks into a sleek top knot and rocking a brown leather Vivienne Westwood dress to match. Perry captioned the slides, “i just think it’s time to give them everything they want #viviennewestwood #cmaawards,” and fans went wild in the comments.
