Brandon Blackstock Is Reportedly Happy Living In His $1.8M Montana Home Following Divorce
According to reports, Blackstock is allegedly very happy living in a $1.8M home in Butte, Montana; even more so because he reportedly still has access to his ex-wife's ranch in the same state. He was reportedly given a 5.12% share of the $17.75M property in the divorce settlement, according to court documents filed at the Los Angeles County Superior Court back in 2022.
And if you recall, the "Since U Been Gone" singer also had to give her ex $1.3M, as well as $45,000 a month in child support for their daughter River Rose, 10, and son Remington Alexander, 8, in the divorce.
Luckily for the "Mine" singer, she stopped paying Blackstock $115,000 a month in spousal support in January 2024. However, her friends reportedly feel it's still very unfair that she is working so hard, while Blackstock is taking things very easy and living off the money she made.
"Kelly is wealthy, but it galled her to have to pay millions for what she feels is no good reason. She thinks he made enough money off her when they were married," an insider spilled, according to RadarOnline.
"Brandon walked away with a tidy fortune that's keeping him in luxury," the insider continued, adding: "And he's enjoying the big payoff in Montana where he's raking it in with his new rodeo show – with Kelly's ex-assistant Brittney Jones."
The insider went on to say that Kelly's close friends don't think it's fair that she is working so hard on her talk show and hasn't had time to meet someone new. They said: "Meanwhile, Kelly's running herself ragged in New York doing her show and struggling to meet a new partner. It doesn't seem fair, at least not to her friends!"
