Kelly Clarkson Dodges A Wardrobe Malfunction During One Of Her Las Vegas Shows
The Kelly Clarkson Show host has been through a lot this year, as she continued to take on show-hosting projects, released new music, and suffered a tragic loss in her family.
Over the summer, Kelly had to cancel a handful of her Las Vegas residency shows just days before it was revealed that her ex-husband and the father of her children, Bandon Blackstock, had passed away due to cancer. Reports came out that she was "devastated" over his loss despite their difficult divorce years prior, and after taking some time to grieve, she returned to not only her talk show, but her Las Vegas 'Studio Sessions' shows as well.
On November 8th, while singing at Caesar's Palace, the mom-of-two was dressed in a plunging, Vegas-coded jumpsuit and nearly flashed the crowd in what was almost a wardrobe malfunction.
Kelly Tells A Story About A Manager Who Told Her To Get Plastic Surgery
The wardrobe malfunction incident then inspired the 43-year-old to take a break from her set and let her fans get a glimpse of her 'looser' side, as she told a slightly explicit story about a "gross" manager who was not pleased with the appearance of her chest in the earlier days of her singing career.
"I had some...manager one time tell me to get a boob job," she said on stage in a now viral clip, acting appalled and noting that she was "fine" with her "itty bitty" chest.
"Get out of here," she added. "I don't really know. He was gross. Who says that?"
The story had Kelly reflecting on how "crazy" the entertainment industry and the professionals working in it can be, and made it clear to her audience that she's just fine being the way she is. Since the clip of her telling the story at her show went viral on social media, fans have been cheering her on, happy to see that she's feeling confident as she continues to work through her busy career.
