Everyone is still talking about the sexy high-slit dress Kelly Ripa wore on Live! With Kelly and Ryan on October 18th. Just look at her breezing into the studio – can you blame them? Ripa’s $248 Reformation ‘Carolena’ dress features a gorgeous waist-cinching fitted bodice, very on-trend puff three-quarter-length sleeves, and one of the highest slits we think we’ve ever seen on daytime television. She looked absolutely sensational!
From one of the sides, the blue and white dress looks like a chic, modest, floral piece that’s perfect for this time of year, as well as for a full day of television show hosting. But from the front and most importantly, from the other side, it’s almost too provocative for live TV thanks to its dangerously high slit. Ripa definitely made it work for her, even when the dress was riding up a little too high, as she quickly repositioned herself and laughed it off. In a behind-the-scenes video which was posted on the Live! With Kelly and Ryan Instagram account, the presenter can be seen laughing off the near-miss, saying, “It is let your leg slit rise all the way up day.” This makes us love her even more!

We are obsessed with the dress and would definitely love to snap it up to wear to a wedding or party – but we don’t know if we would want to wear it if we knew lots of cameras were pointed at us, just in case of any accidental wardrobe malfunctions. And especially not if it was live television where anything can happen! The 51-year-old mom-of-three is a lot braver than we are!
