Kendall Jenner has never been one to shy away from a dramatic new hairstyle, and the 25-year-old supermodel recently graced the cover of Vogue Spain to show off a fresh set of blunt bangs in a stunning jet black shade. Modeling some chic choppy layers to compliment the new cut, Jenner also effortlessly pulled off some dramatic graphic blue eyeshadow to accentuate her brown eyes.
Jenner hardly looked like herself in another shot, staring moodily into the camera with a trace of a smile on her lips which were adorned with black lipstick. Designer Donatella Versace, for one, was enamored with the new look, commenting, “Wow! Kendall, you look AMAZING!!!” Kris Jenner also commented on the photo, “GORGEOUS,” with three heart eye emojis.
The shoot channeled darker, moodier energy than Jenner typically exuded, pairing bold eye looks and outfits with stuffed teddy bears for a unique contrast. The images were released in Vogue Spain’s August issue, shot by Micaiah Carter and Gabriella Karefa-Johnson. Jenner’s best friend Hailey Bieber quickly commented on another one of the images that the supermodel shared, writing, “Wait…. Do u need to dye your hair black?” before following up the comment with, “OBSESSED.”
Jenner, who typically rocks caramel locks and is ever the traditional California girl, effortlessly pulled off the darker hair which is closer to her natural color than before. The model has never worn her hair in blunt bangs, but if the photoshoot proves anything it’s that she can certainly pull off any look. Who knows, maybe she’ll take Bieber’s suggestion and go darker for the fall.
