Kim Kardashian Slammed For ‘Disgusting’ And ‘Disturbing’ Elephant Skin Birkin Bag: ‘Have You No Shame?’

Kim Kardashian’s new Hulu show, “All’s Fair,” has been getting negative press left and right, despite being renewed for a second season. However, the latest bit of backlash? Fans and celebrities alike are slamming the reality TV star for carrying what appears to be an elephant skin leather Birkin bag on the show. Keep reading for more information.

Clips of Kim carrying the bag during the show have gone viral on social media, with the account @BirkinJunky posting a compilation of clips and up close shots of the bag. “Hermès no longer makes elephant leather bags (thank god) but back in the 80s they had a custom order made by a client of Hermès who brought in a elephant hide from a hunting safari,” the caption reads.

However, we can’t chalk Kardashian’s use of the bag up to the costume department entirely. Also included in the video clip are a few photos of Kim posing with the alleged Hermès bag while on a break from shooting. Still dressed in her gray slip skirt, lowcut long sleeve top, and gray headscarf, the mother-of-four posed holding the bag and lounging on a chaise next to the bag. Not a good look!
