Kim posted a series of photos wishing Tracy a happy birthday, but fans were quick to notice that Tracy didn’t really seem to be the focus of the photos. Kim Kardashian's Birthday Shoutout For 'Bestie' Tracy Romulus
Most of the photos in question are just Kim, with her friend in the background. The first photo, for example, shows Kim in a black bra top and matching skin tight pants taking a mirror selfie. In the background of the photo is Tracy, who is not even looking at the camera or in the mirror, and is rather looking at something on her phone. Kim captioned the photo "I love you so much for always keeping it 100%! You are the glue in our circle and we love you for being the realest at all times! And paying me no mind at the same time lol."
The second photo is of the same scene, but this time Kim points in the mirror to Tracy, perhaps clarifying that the photo is for Tracy, not herself (the subject of the photo). The third photo is even worse: a selfie of the pair in the car, except Kim is looking at the camera and posing, while Tracy, in the background, is not only not looking at the camera, but also appears to be picking her nose! Not really something you want Kim's 364M Instagram followers seeing...
In the last two photos, TK is at least looking and posing for the camera, so many fans are wondering why Kim didn't just post those, but we suppose the Kardashian mind works in mysterious ways...
Fans Slam Kim Kardashian For Selfish Birthday Post
In a Reddit thread started by @LucyBubs, users are appalled by Kim's lack of self awareness and were quick to call Kim out in the comments. The original poster, @LucyBubs posted screenshots of the birthday shoutout and wrote, "KIM is SO Gross and NARCISSISTIC that she makes HERSELF the CENTER OF ATTENTION to wish her BESTIE (and anyone else) a Happy Birthday."
"God forbid someone other than Kim have the spotlight for a millisecond," one user replied.
"She thinks she's SO funny because Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds did this. B****. 1) Stop copying 2) you're cringe 3) this comes off as narcissistic more than anything else," said another.
"Ran here for this..." posted another user. "I couldn't believe it!!! I feel like she does this often with her friends, though. So gross!"
While most would assume friendship with the Kardashian's would come with perks, nice birthday posts apparently aren't one. Kim's friend was not tagged in any of the photos, and if you didn't read the captions it's unlikely you'd even recognize this as a birthday post and not another barrage of Kim Kardashian mirror selfies.
