Is Kim Kardashian officially an actress? The reality television star was just cast in a new Netflix film, The Fifth Wheel. While some fans are itching to see more of her on the big screen after her debut on the show All’s Fair, others aren’t as supportive, and are calling her out for trying to be something she’s not. Keep reading for more information.
Kim Kardashian Casted For New Netflix Movie
The Fifth Wheel has a pretty stacked cast: the ensemble comedy film will be directed by Eva Longoria and stars Nikki Glaser, Fortune Feimster, and Brenda Song alongside the Kardashians star. The movie follows a group of best friends from high school who reconnect for a weekend in Vegas when a hot outsider (enter Kim!) crashes the weekend, leading to a wilder night than anyone signed up for.
This is obviously not Kim’s first time in front of the camera, but the SKIMS founder has recently taken on more acting gigs, appearing in Season 12 of American Horror Story and starring alongside Sarah Paulson, Glen Close, Niecy Nash, and Naomi Watts in the new Hulu show All’s Fair. Reviews were mixed for both of her roles: many longtime AHS fans thought Kim “ruined” the show, and All’s Fair hasn’t been favored by critics. Regardless, the mother-of-four seemingly isn’t giving up on her acting dreams, despite backlash from fans.
