Kim Posts Footage Of Her Studying For The Bar
In the 8-minute video clip she shared to her Instagram, Kim let her followers in on what it’s been like for her to study for the bar, explaining that she’s been studying for “four months straight” and that she’s “canceled all work.”
“I don’t really do anything except being a mom and studying,” she says. Filled with video clips of her writing on white boards, in notebooks, and on laptops, the video gives insight into Kim’s untraditional path to taking the bar.
“I know that I’ve learned in such a different way,” Kim acknowledged, referring to her not having attended college or law school, and rather learning from online programs and mentors, but said she felt as ready as she was going to feel. Unfortunately, she did not pass the exam, though the end of her video promises that she will keep trying until she passes.
Social Media Reactions
Across social media platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Reddit, fans shared their thoughts on Kim's bar exam endeavor. "I get the sincere impression that because Kim hasn’t had a ton of schooling that she hasn’t learned how to study and do it effectively," one person wrote on Reddit.
"I also think Kim is just a bit delusional about how hard she works and even what 'hard work' really is," another user added.
"It seems she's been a little too confident lately—I would never in a million years say I was to be certified as a lawyer soon on national tv until I knew my results," a third person wrote. "She is surrounded by yes people. She would do good to be humbled a bit in and in a traditional law school."
"Her 'hard work' is barely the bare minimum at law school," agreed another.
"To be totally honest, learning new things and memorization at her age is A LOT harder than typical college age," pointed out another fan.
