The whole Kardashian-Jenner family is known for their expensive parties, and Kylie Jenner is definitely following in their footsteps, especially when it comes to her daughter’s birthdays. Without a doubt, the Kylie Cosmetics founder is a doting mom, and she loves celebrating every one of Stormi‘s milestones. Unfortunately, with coronavirus, these parties have gone from elaborate to downright dangerous.
The 23-year-old celebrated her daughter’s 3rd birthday this month, hosting a party that defied many of California’s coronavirus safety guidelines.
Although the reality star did adjust her original party plan, she did not cancel the party altogether.
She explained on her Instagram stories, "I am just waiting for my three-year-old to wake up. But Stormi World 3 is canceled... for obvious reasons. But I still went all out for Stormi at my house, and we are just doing a cousin party, with all her cousins and my family, which will be still just as amazing."

Although that might sound like a small family gathering was in store, the photos and videos of the party show a different picture.

With so many coronavirus cases in Los Angeles, the star's decision to go ahead with the celebration was met with its fair share of criticism.

Jenner has not replied yet to the critics.
Seeing as her family has more than one occasion of party-hosting during the pandemic (including Kim's island getaway and Kendall's Halloween-themed birthday), it looks like Stormi's birthday bash is just a small part of a much bigger pattern.
