Kylie Jenner is having a bikini-clad summer, and it’s becoming a little more clear as to why, after she announced her new Khy clothing collab with a series of new bathing suit pictures.

The media personality recently announced her latest Khy clothing brand adventure – a collaboration with the famous swimwear line, Frankies Bikinis. In honor of the new bathing suit releases, the mom-of-two shared several photos of herself posing in them on Instagram, where she got to show off her killer figure. While her looks got a lot of praise, not everyone was that impressed with the bikinis themselves, commenting that they looked uncomfortable on various social media platforms. Kylie Jenner Announces Khy x Frankies Bikinis Collab In New Instagram Posts

This week, the 27-year-old revealed that her clothing brand, Khy, which she debuted in November 2024, would be collaborating with the popular swimwear brand, Frankies Bikinis, to put out a new line of summer swimwear. The collection contains several cheeky and stylish bikinis ranging in shape, color, and pattern. The suits were inspired by vintage looks and were created by Kylie herself and the Frankies Bikinis founder, Francesca Aiello.

In honor of the collab, Kylie and Francesa posted pictures from a summer-themed photoshoot, where they posed in some of the swimsuits themselves.

"I've been dreaming of creating the perfect vintage bombshell-inspired swimwear, and teaming up with @francescaaiello to bring it to life has been so special," wrote Kylie in her Instagram caption. "We poured love into every detail. The most dreamy prints and flattering fits."

Fans React To The Bikini Collaboration On Social Media

While there was no doubt the beauty billionaire looked fabulous in her photoshoot, with fans commenting on Instagram that she was "perfect," the swimsuits themselves received a good amount of backlash, with many internet users feeling that they were not designed with the average body type in mind.

On social media platforms like Reddit, users slammed the Khy founder for her new line of swimwear and didn't hold back in the comments. One user wrote that Kylie's photos and bikini designs were "always for the male gaze."

"None of these look like bikinis," wrote another disappointed fan. "I'm confused."

Another Reddit user wrote that the bathing suits looked "uncomfy," and a user who had tried on some of Khy's other swimsuits added that the fit was "so bad."

One user vented about the lack of inclusive sizing with the new Khy bikinis, writing, "I'd love to see her do some more inclusive ad campaigns for her clothing and swimwear collabs."

"Like, yes, her body is clearly bangin', and I'd wanna show off if I looked like that too," they continued. But how would these look on normal civilian bodies?"

On Instagram, followers shared similar sentiments, writing, "Could you please create things for normal bodies?"

"This is only nice because it's on that type of body," added another.

This is not the first time a member of the Kardashian family has been accused of setting "unrealistic" beauty standards, and this backlash has us wondering if the design of the new bikinis will affect their sales and hurt the Khy brand as a whole.
