Kylie Jenner graced the 2024 Golden Globes last week wearing a memorable sheer 1998 haute couture gown created by the late Japanese designer, Hanae Mori. The sheer-lined dress, which featured exquisite black embroidery, perfectly highlighted her figure and curves, enhancing her sculpted silhouette.
The Kylie Cosmetics mogul, 26, attended the prestigious event at the Beverly Hilton Hotel to show her support for her boyfriend, Timothée Chalamet, who had received a ‘Best Actor’ nomination for his performance in the movie, Wonka.
While many fans headed to social media soon after to praise Jenner’s get-up for the night, others expressed how much they thought she looked like Golden Globe winner Cillian Murphy. Fans Compare Kylie Jenner And Cillian Murphy's Facial Features After 2024 Golden Globes Air
On January 8th, fans began comparing Jenner and Murphy in a new Reddit thread created after the Golden Globes aired (titled "Why do Kylie and Cillian look alike Siblings fr").
One commented: "it’s the fillers" as another added: "It’s the cheek filler. She needs to dissolve it looks insane." Someone else replied that Jenner looking like Murphy wouldn't be a bad thing as "he is one of the most handsome men around."
Others stressed that her rumored cheek fillers were "too much" and made her look "40" rather than in her twenties. Jenner previously admitted to pursuing lip fillers and undergoing breast augmentation surgery as a teenager but stressed in a November 2023 WSJ interview that she "never touched my face" regarding other rumored procedures like cheek fillers.
While Jenner has not responded to these fresh accusations or comparisons to Murphy, she did embrace Chalamet, 28, during their latest PDA-filled outing.
While Chalamet did not score the Golden Globe for 'Best Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy,' (as that trophy went to Paul Giamatti for The Holdovers) he did appear to 'win' the affection of Jenner as the two kissed and smiled throughout the night while seated at their table.
As for Murphy, the Peaky Blinders star was recognized for his performance as J. Robert Oppenheimer in the summer 2023 blockbuster hit Oppenheimer directed by Christopher Nolan. Murphy snagged the 'Best Actor – Motion Picture Drama' award.
