Lady Gaga never shies away from experimenting with her look, but recently the “Shallow” singer has kept it pretty consistent with her long, bleached-blonde locks (even if the strands do occasionally have a slight blue or purple hue).
However, that all changed when she posted this dramatic transformation on Instagram.

Though she might be hard to recognize in this photo, that is Lady Gaga, only with a dark brunette bob. The singer went under the transformation for her new role in House Of Gucci, where she stars alongside Adam Driver.

Gaga plays Maurizio Gucci’s ex-wife, Patricia Reggiani, in the film. The movie will follow the same story of Sara G Forden’s 2001 book, The House of Gucci: A Sensational Story of Murder, Madness, Glamour, and Greed.

Although this isn’t the look we’re used to seeing from Gaga, we have to say that the short brunette hair suits her. And we can’t wait to see more of it when the film is released in November!
