Lady Gaga’s over-the-top makeup days are far behind her, as the House of Gucci star has embraced the less is more approach for the majority of her day-to-day activities and even red carpet appearances. (With a few exceptions, of course!) However, fans weren’t expecting the 36-year-old Oscar winner to treat them to a completely bare-faced video on Instagram on Tuesday, April 19th – and their minds were completely blown when she did!
The Born This Way singer is now the latest in a long and impressive line of A-listers to go barefaced on the gram, with Cindy Crawford, Jennifer Lopez, and Jessica Biel being just three of the more recent celebs to wow us with their makeup-free pictures.

In the video, the A Star is Born actress can be seen relaxing on her couch while wearing a dressed-down ensemble consisting of a cream-colored bralette and grey hotpants (a far cry from some of her super-racy on-stage or red carpet looks, we must say!) with the camera mainly focusing on her makeup-free complexion. Although Lady Gaga is using a filter (the multicolored twinkling lights sort of give that away) it doesn’t seem to distort her face too much, and her natural enviable beauty is still very noticeable. She looks incredible!
Gaga's fans naturally couldn’t help but gush over Mother Monster's unmistakable glow; not to mention those perfect brows that seem to be the epitome of the term, "on fleek." Commenting on a screen shot from the video, posted by Gaga fan account @GagaRoyalty on Twitter, one fan said, "She s soo beautiful without make up," to which another replied with, "She's just beautiful, period." Another Little Monster wrote, "She is a very beautiful woman inside and out," while another added, "She looks attractive with or without makeup." No arguments there!
