Lana Del Rey’s Weight Loss
The video in question shows two clips of Del Rey performing, and in the second clip, the singer has noticeably slimmed down in the legs, torso, and face. The creator captioned the video, “Lana Del Rey’s glow-up: the GLP-1 effect?”
Del Rey has not addressed the rumors about her weight loss, she has previously spoken about making healthier lifestyle choices. She discussed her journey to sobriety in a 2012 interview with GQ. “When I write about the thing that I’ve lost I feel like I’m writing about alcohol because that was the first love of my life,” she told the outlet. She added: “Sure, there have been people, but it’s really alcohol.” The “Blue Jeans” crooner also shared: “It’s been nine years since my last drink.”
Social Media Reactions
In the comment section, many fans were quick to agree with the original poster, writing things like "Ozempic worked well," and "My daily dose of Ozempic advertising!"
But others came to Del Rey's defense, arguing that the artist had been working out consistently for years: "Y'all, she works out," one comment reads. "It was so obvious during her '24 Coachella set that girl did serious leg exercises."
"She's also incredibly toned so she's working out!" another person agreed.
But either way, fans are happy for the singer: "I'm just happy she's happy!" a final fan wrote.
