The Titanic actor arrived at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival on May 13th with his 26-year-old girlfriend, Italian model Vittoria Ceretti. Aside from posing in a tuxedo on the red carpet, he made appearances at the opening ceremony, presenting iconic film actor Robert De Niro with an honorary Palme d'Or.
He kept his looks for the occasion on the French Riviera simple and classy, with a classic black-and-white tuxedo on the red carpet and during the festivities. Behind the scenes, he sported a black blazer jacket and a white teeshirt. As he wore these outfits, people began noticing that he looked like he'd lost weight recently. Even though he has not acknowledged it, looking at photos of him from a few years ago to now points out the difference.

Reddit Users Speculate That Leonardo Is Using Weight Loss Drugs
After his appearance at Cannes, pictures and videos of the 50-year-old in his tuxedo and hanging out with his girlfriend began circulating online. On Reddit, people began talking about how slim and healthy he looked and wondered what he'd been doing to lose some weight.
Not only did many Reddit users note that he looked great, but they also started speculating that he had work done or was using weight loss drugs like Ozempic.
"He's slimmed down quite a bit," wrote a Reddit user under a video of him and Vittoria. "Looks good."
"He looks remarkably healthier and less bloated and red in the face," added another.
"Looks like he's joined the Ozempic bandwagon," wrote a user.
Other Reddit users began speculating that the actor may have quit drinking to shed some pounds, given that he has less of a belly and cutting out alcohol is known for helping people lose stubborn weight.
"[It] looks like he quit alcohol and maybe [is on] Ozempic?" asked one.
"He looks healthy [and] less bloated than he has looked in the past."
Leonardo has yet to come out and talk about his body transformation and recent health goals, and we're not sure we'll ever learn about what's going on as he tends to keep his personal life private.
