Lindsay Poses In a Lace Corset And For Her 'Vogue Czechoslovakia' Cover Shoot
On April 15th, Vogue announced that the Mean Girls star would be the May cover star of their Czechoslovakian magazine. Calling her a "true Millennial icon" in their Instagram caption, the interview for the issue will center on how she has grown throughout her career, from filming The Parent Trap at the age of 12 to battling addiction issues, revamping her career with more fun projects, and becoming a mother.
Like any Vogue cover star, Lindsay modeled for a glamourous photoshoot. While the settings were simple, ranging from a white studio background to an outdoor street location, her wardrobe was anything but, as she posed in stunning, movie-star-esque ensembles. One outfit included a black, lace up corset jacket and a chic black skirt.
In one close-up shot, she is wearing a plum-colored lipstick and sporting an old-school, thin black veil over her face, accompanied by Chanel earrings. While modeling on a casual street outside, the Freaky Friday actress took a dramatic black and white photo in a long, strapless gown and a 1950s-inspired Hollywood starlet hairdo.
When the photos from her shoot were posted to Instagram, Lindsay's fan base couldn't get over how amazing she looked, flooding the comments section with compliments and praise.
Fans React To Lindsay's Dramatic And Glamourous Photoshoot On Instagram
After the first round of photos from the actress and singer's cover story, which is titled, "The Real Deal With Lindsay Lohan" were posted on Instagram, members of her fanbase and other internet users sounded off in the comments section to share how happy and excited they were to see her looking so fabulous.
One fan called Lindsay's look and career journey "the greatest glow up in Hollywood," while another wrote that she looked "absolutely stunning."
"She is the moment," added another follower. "The 2000s queen is really back," wrote an Instagram user.
Other followers and fans of the 38 year-old spoke about the more trialing times of her career, as during the early to mid 2000s, she struggled with substance abuse, was in and out of rehab facilities, and even spent a brief amount of time behind bars.
One fan wrote that the media owes Lindsay "a huge apology for the name-calling, bullying, mistreatment, and downright disrespect that she went through in the 2000s-2010s," while another wrote that she was the "OG of comebacks."
Lindsay has certainly come quite a long way, and after finding love in her marriage to husband Bader Shammas and becoming a mother to her son, Luai, she's back in the spotlight and taking on exciting projects, like the upcoming summertime sequel to her famous Disney movie, Freakier Friday, starring her and Jamie Lee Curtis. After seeing these Vogue photos, it became clear that she has not only regained her position as a successful actress but also as a fashion icon.
"From the early 2000s to today, Lindsay's fashion choices have sparked conversations and turned heads," wrote the Vogue Czechoslovakia team in their Instagram caption.
"Today, she continues to make waves, dominating fashion and film with the same confidence that has always defined her style."
