Machine Gun Kelly is making headlines right now – and for once, it isn’t due to his on/off relationship with Megan Fox.

The “Bloody Valentine” musician has been sparking concern with his noticeably slimmer frame recently, prompting fans to speculate about what’s behind the sudden transformation. As it turns out, MGK is more than willing to divulge, revealing that he’s been going on four-day water fasts and only eating a couple of times a week, which has unsurprisingly caused fans to worry. Machine Gun Kelly Talks About Going On Water Fasts After Coming Out Of Rehab

The 35-year-old rapper, real name Colson Baker, was very open during an appearance on The New York Times’ Popcast on August 7th. He revealed that he started doing water fasts when he got home from rehab back in January this year, which essentially involved no food or drinks except for water.

According to MGK, the fasting put him in a “delirious state” which he seemed to welcome, as it distracted him from the noise surrounding his breakup with the Jennifer’s Body star, who was pregnant with their daughter. Speaking to hosts Jon Caramanica and Joe Coscarelli about life post-rehab, he recalled: “I came out, the world was very loud about me and my personal business.”

“Ironically, neither me or Megan have said anything,” the “Emo Girl” rapper continued, adding: “I mean, still to this day, there could have been zero drama and you would never know because none of us have said one thing.”

The "Bad Things" rapper went on to describe how one of his fasts coincided with the California wildfires. "I'm like, 'I'm just going to push and go for four days of this water fast,'" he said. On day three, fires apparently broke out "pretty close to the house." By day four, the father-of-two said he was at neighbor Michael B. Jordan's place, looking out "and the fire is, like, right there."

He went on: "My body's already going through it. I'm pushing myself to a kind of delirious state. And I'm not really sure if… the house is going to burn or anything like that."

"I kind of just gather up some letters and I grab – I don't know. I think I grabbed, like, a Banksy piece and a Picasso piece," he recalled, as Coscarelli quipped: "Different than some people's evacuation plan, but good for you."

Machine Gun Kelly Says He Only Eats 'A Couple Times A Week'

This isn't the first time the rapper has spoken about his extreme eating habits. During a recent interview with Adin Ross on HipHop-N-More, he admitted: "I don't really eat. I just do water a bunch."

When asked if he ever felt "weak or lightheaded," he replied: "Yeah, I'll eat, like, a couple times a week." The rapper then explained that some of the things he eats include "kimchi and sauerkraut," which he cooks in a bone broth for the "probiotics."

"When you do those water fasts, the only thing that's crazy is that it kills all the good bacteria in you, too," the "Lonely Road" singer explained, which is why he opts for the bone broth cooking option. "I'll drink celery juice sometimes. Coconut water," he went on, before noting that he also has "coffee and cigarettes." Nutritious…

Fan Comments

"He needs help," wrote one very concerned fan on an Instagram post about his comments. "Well if he wants it to lead to serious health issues or illness, he's on the right track!" exclaimed a second, as a third asked: "Is bro ok?"

"That might be the most unattractive thing I've ever heard," slammed a fourth, as a fifth added: "Not a good thing especially with his body type. Hope he takes vitamins." "This is me but like no cigs just coffee and water yet I'm not thin. Also I’m pretty sure this is some type of eating disorder idk," speculated a sixth.

"Sweetheart, you MAY have an eating disorder," noted a seventh, as an eighth concurred: "That's called an eating disorder, my guy." "Men can have eating disorders too," echoed a ninth.
