Madonna almost broke the internet when she posted a short video of herself on her Instagram account on October 9th, as her 18.5M followers were in complete disbelief that the woman staring back at them was the 64-year-old “Like a Prayer” singer, with many thinking that she looked more like 53-year-old “Tainted Love” musician Marilyn Manson instead! Omg!
The short video sees the “Hung Up” hitmaker staring into the camera wearing a black, high-necked shirt, rocking short faded pink hair and little to no makeup! She has had pink hair for quite a few months now, and also shown off her makeup-free complexion in the past, but *something* made her look completely unrecognizable to her fans – and they weren’t afraid of voicing their opinions and concerns in the comments section!

“That isn’t Madonna is it? What happened to her? She looks nothing like she used to,” one fan asked, which many, many other fans had answers to! “Aging plasticly,” one fan quipped, in reference to her alleged plastic surgery and cosmetic procedures. “She got a facelift didn’t she?” questioned another. “Quite the opposite of graceful aging. This is just sad to watch,” commented another, while another also suggested that they were sad about her latest appearance, writing: “This is breaking my heart. I’ve been a fan since day one. I miss that look.”
Many fans couldn’t believe the huge difference in her appearance from just a few months ago, with one saying: “Scroll through her IG. She did not look like this the end of August! Age doesn’t set in THAT quickly,” and many others simply refusing to believe that the person in the video was the “Material Girl” singer. “That’s not Madonna,” one fan commented. “Nah no way is that Madonna no way,” another added, in disbelief. “Who are you? Who is impersonating Madonna? I don’t recognize you,” another fan wrote. “What did you do to Madonna? Where is she?” asked another. “What did you do to yourself?” yet another fan asked the singer.
Perhaps the biggest theme among her fans' comments was their agreement that the iconic "Vogue" singer not only didn’t look like herself, but that she looked scarily like Marilyn Manson instead! "Marilyn Manson or Madonna? Can’t tell," one fan commented, while another tagged the "Sweet Dreams" singer in their comment, asking: "@marilynmanson is that u?"
