I’m one of those people that totally looks forward to fall because I love sweaters and boots. They’re my favorite thing to wear, so you can imagine I’ve amassed quite the collection over the years.
I basically never pass up the opportunity to add a great new boot to my wardrobe, so when I heard Margaux–the shoe brand beloved for their supportive, comfortable ballet flats–was launching a boot, I jumped at the chance to give them a spin.
Available in two classic colors–black and tan–Margaux’s new boot is everything I’ve come to expect from the brand. Timeless, versatile and extremely comfortable. The heel is 2.5 inches and I was easily able to spend a full 10-hour day running around NYC in them. I’m talking up and down subway stairs, walking my daughter to school, picking up groceries on the way home–my feet didn’t hurt at all when I slipped out of the boots when I got home.
I was also very impressed with how soft the suede is on these boots. Lots of suede boots are grainy and rough in texture, but these are super smooth and sleek. It makes them super versatile; the boots are polished enough to wear with dresses and skirts, but also not too fancy to pair with jeans.
