The Golden Globe Awards proved to be an exhilarating and enjoyable ceremony, acknowledging outstanding movies and shows from 2023. Despite a strike the previous year, the industry swiftly rebounded, with celebrities showcasing their A-game on the red carpet after a brief hiatus.
In 2023, Barbie became a standout movie, and fans eagerly anticipated the red carpet arrival of the film’s lead, Margot Robbie. She certainly didn’t disappoint, making a stylish entrance in a Barbiecore ensemble: a custom-made replica of the 1977 Superstar Barbie outfit, designed by Armani, featuring a dazzling hot pink sequined dress.

In her dazzling hot pink sequined gown, she flaunted V-neck straps and a floor-sweeping hemline. Completing the look, she adorned herself with a matching tulle pink boa adorned with playful polka dots. The most stunning element of her ensemble, however, was the jewelry.
The star elevated her look with a jaw-dropping $3 million worth of Lorraine Schwartz Jewelry, featuring 30-carat diamond studs and a 3-carat D flawless old cut Golconda Diamond ring adorned with natural vivid pink diamonds.
Ironically, this marks her second appearance in a pink gown at the Golden Globes. Last year, even before the release of Barbie, the actress donned a baby pink Chanel gown.
Barbie Goes Home With Two Golden Globes
Greta Gerwig's film had a triumphant night despite the tough competition, securing two victories out of its nine nominations. Barbie claimed its own spotlight with the two awards – one for Billie Eilish's hit 'What Was I Made For' and another in the newly minted category celebrating cinematic and box office achievement, designed specifically for widely acclaimed films. The evening unfolded as a tale of success and recognition for both cinematic gems.
During their acceptance speech, Robbie and Gerwig took turns addressing who they wish to dedicate the award for Cinematic and Box Office Achievement.
"I would like to dedicate this to every single person on the planet who dressed up and went to the greatest place on earth, the movie theaters," said The Wolf Of Wall Street icon. While a snippet of Gerwig's speech said, "Thank you, and thank you to everybody. All the Barbies and Kens in front of and behind the screen. It was the greatest, most joyful show of craftsmanship and passion I've ever seen."
