Margot Robbie Debuts Her New Bob Haircut & Bangs At Paris Fashion Week
The Barbie actress has had quite a busy start to her year, fresh off the Wuthering Heights premiere and stylish press tour, and more recently, she was attending Paris Fashion Week just before the Academy Awards.
On March 9th, she was a guest at Chanel's women's ready-to-wear Fall/Winter 2026-2027 in a rather simple outfit consisting of a slinky sheer tank top and some blue jeans. However, once she made her way out towards photographers, it became clear as to why she wore a fairly understated, simple outfit - to show off her new dramatic haircut.
Margot's signature blonde hair had been cut into a choppy bob with wispy bangs. The bob landed around the middle of her neck, above her shoulders, and looked as though it was hardly a style, with her hair texture being slightly wavy. The bangs were classic, hitting just above her eyebrows. For numerous pictures, she had tucked half of her hair behind her ear.

It didn't take long for the photos and videos of the 35-year-old showing off her new hairstyle to go viral, as fans haven't seen her with short hair in a while. Throughout her breakout roles and career moments, she's become known for her flowing, long blonde hair or the occasional straightened 'lob,' which made the new haircut, presented in a different length and texture, even more drastic.
While some of her fans cheered her on, there were a surprisingly large number of social media users who were not into it and did not find it flattering. They left critical comments on platforms like Instagram.
"Margot Robbie can't pull off bangs and a bob," commented a user. "She's, of course, still insanely beautiful, but her hair was way better before."
"Bobs age you so much," wrote a harsher critic, as another added "the cut is not it."
"Whoever grabbed [those] scissors needs to meet me outside," commented a user.
