Martha Stewart looks incredible at 79, and fans are not above noticing. More than one has questioned Stewart’s secret for staying young, especially since Stewart has started sharing more selfies–and thirst traps–on Instagram. And comments on the star’s recent selfies are anything but subtle. One fan wrote, “You do not age!” Another commented, “Martha, you never disappoint” with a fire emoji.
However, the 79-year-old looks nearly unrecognizable in her recent photos, leading some to wonder if the star has taken her quest for younger-looking skin a little too far.

Stewart posted a close up shot over New Year's, and she definitely looked youthful with wrinkle-free skin and a fresh tan, but did she really look like herself?
Some fans are even wondering if she opted for a face lift. Although it's certainly possible, Stewart has said in previous interviews that she likes to remain "conservative" when it comes to cosmetic procedures.
In a 2020 People interview, she explained her self care routine: "I work primarily with two very excellent dermatologists, who are very conservative about anything that they would do to my face."
She added, "A little Juvéderm injections here or there every now and then, maybe twice a year, and that’s basically the skin treatments that I get. I’ve never had a facelift."
Although Stewart has every right to change her mind, based on this interview, it seems unlikely that she would opt for a more severe cosmetic procedure. Plus, why would she want to when she already looks this fabulous?
If anything, her recent transformation probably has more to do with an excess of fake tanner and imperfect lighting than anything else.
