McDonald's is always changing things up when it comes to their menu items, but their latest creation is actually INSANE! The chain is introducing the new Swiss Mushroom Melt as part of its Signature Crafted Recipes line in select locations, and it looks incredible! Seriously, you need to see it for yourself.

This new sandwich features seasoned, grilled mushrooms, two slices of Swiss cheese and a creamy garlic-herb spread. And, customers have the choice of adding these tasty ingredients on top of McDonald's Quarter Pounder beef patty, Buttermilk Crispy Chicken filet, or Grilled Artisan Chicken filet.

This isn't the first time McDonald's has tested out the mushroom and Swiss cheese combination. In fact, it's found its way onto the McDonald's menu several times, according to Brand Eating. There was the Angus Snack Wrap, the Sirloin Third Pound Burger and the Quarter Pounder. These tasty menu items have been discontinued, but we're happy to see that it's back at Mickey D's!
So, what else is featured on the chain's Signature Crafted Recipes line? You can also get the Signature Sriracha sandwich, which features Sriracha Mac sauce, crisp onions, fresh baby spinach, kale, tomato and white cheddar cheese, and the Buffalo Bacon sandwich. The Buffalo Bacon sandwich combines buffalo sauce, applewood-smoked bacon, shredded lettuce, and blue cheese sauce with your choice of meat. Like the Swiss Mushroom Melt, both sandwiches are available in select McDonald's.
