Whether you’re in a hurry or just don’t want to spend a lot of money, the McDonald‘s breakfast menu is a good option.

The only downside is that many former and current McDonald’s point a few key health downsides to getting your first meal of the day at the food joint.

For one, now that the Illinois-based chain offers "all day breakfasts" at many locations, you need to come to terms with the fact that your breakfast order is sharing a grill with all lunch and dinner meals.

As many Redditors have pointed out, it's just not possible to completely clean the grill between cooking breakfast meats and hamburgers--especially at rush hour.

Secondly, if you're watching your weight and trying to order one of their health breakfast options--it might not actually be as health as you think.

Another Reddit user noted (via Mashable) the egg whites for those sandwiches are cooked in butter!

"The egg white delight is just as unhealthy, if not more so, than the regular round eggs. The amount of butter (at least in my store) sprayed on the grill must up the calorie and fat count like crazy." Yikes!

There's no way that anyone whose ordering an egg white sandwich wants to consume that many butter calories. Say it ain't so!
