McDonald’s is giving customers a reason to think that 2021 might actually be better than 2021; the fast food chain just announced that it’s adding three new chicken sandwiches to the menu in February!
The company announced via press release this week that starting on February 24th, the Deluxe Chicken Sandwich, the Spicy Chicken Sandwich, and the Crispy Chicken Sandwich will all be available in restaurants and for ordering through the app. This is huge!

Throwing their hat into the chicken sandwich game, the Illinois-based chain has expanded their menu in the best way possible.
The Crispy Chicken Sandwich will come on a toasted potato roll and topped with crinkle-cut pickles--yum! The Spicy Chicken Sandwich will also come on a potato roll with spicy pepper sauce and pickles, for all the heat-lovers. And the Deluxe Chicken Sandwich will come with mayo, shredded lettuce, and Roma tomatoes--because you can't beat that classic combo.

"We've heard our customers loud and clear, and we know they're craving more chicken options," Vice President of Menu Innovation Linda VanGosen said in the release.
"We're confident all chicken fans – from traditionalists to spice enthusiasts – will discover a new menu favorite they'll come back for time and time again." Nice!

The "Chicken Sandwich War" started in 2019 after Popeyes debuted its fried chicken sandwich--throwing down the gauntlet to Chick-fil-A's signature chicken sandwich. Now this is an argument we can really get behind!
