Megan Fox has been in the public eye for many years now, and it’s clear to see that she has always been a natural beauty. But that doesn’t mean she doesn’t work hard to maintain her incredibly toned and sculpted physique too!
The 37-year-old Hope & Faith alum has spoken about her diet and exercise routine several times over the years, and it’s evident that she takes both seriously. Take a look at some of the foods the Transformers actress has been known to have for breakfast, lunch, dinner below – as well as some of the intense exercises she has previously done.
What Does Megan Fox Eat For Breakfast, Lunch, And Dinner?
According to Hello, the Jennifer's Body star maintains a healthy diet full of fruits and vegetables, and with as little processed food as possible. For breakfast, which Megan reportedly never skips, she usually has high-protein foods like egg whites, almonds, and oatmeal. At lunchtime, Megan enjoys Japanese food or meals such as salmon with rice, while typical dinners are clean protein-rich choices such as chicken breast with quinoa for example.
As far as snacks are concerned, the Sports Illustrated: Swimsuit cover star reportedly enjoys protein shakes and fruits. And believe it or not, she doesn't believe in "cheat days" and will treat herself to something if she fancies it, which is often pizza or cake. A girl after our own hearts!
Seems like diet has always been important to the mom-of-three. When Megan gave birth to her first son Noah, who she shares with ex-husband Brian Austin Green, back in 2014, she reportedly underwent a strict diet and exercise regime. Talking about the things she did – and more importantly, didn't – eat, she told E! News back in 2014: "I cut out all bread and those sorts of carbohydrates." This involved "no crackers, no pretzels, no chips. Nothing unhealthy." She added: "The worst thing I put in my body is coffee, once a day."
Megan Fox's Exercise Routine
In 2014, the same year she gave birth to her first child, Megan starred in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and credited diet and training with Harley Pasternak with helping her get back into shape. "She's someone who naturally doesn't love working out traditionally," Pasternak told Us Weekly at the time. "She has really adopted this great consistency and this great approach to working out; it started during her first pregnancy and has carried on through now."
Pasternak previously told People that Megan works out at least three days a week, two of which are "really hard." Pasternak said "there are five phases" to her workout: "A minimum five-minute cardio warm-up, a lower-body sculpting exercise, an upper body toning exercise, then an abdominal sculpting exercise, and finally, a five-minute cool down."
