According to US Weekly, the Transformers actress was spotted wearing a “ring on that special finger” last week when she was watching her beau rehearse for his MTV VMAs performance of “Papercuts“ with former Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker. Clue number one. The second clue comes courtesy of the same source, who told the publication that a “surprise announcement” could be made during or after the performance. That’s almost all we need to know, right? However, now that the VMAs have come and gone, we now know that MGK didn’t make an announcement regarding his alleged engagement. And to top it all off, a rep for Fox reportedly confirmed to Page Six that the couple are, in fact, not engaged. What a bummer!

She was previously wed to 48-year-old "Beverly Hills, 90210" actor and current "Dancing With The Stars" contestant Brian Austin Green for ten years, and shares three sons with him: Noah, 8, Bodhi, 7, and Journey, 5. Baker shares 12-year-old daughter, Casie, with ex-girlfriend Emma Cannon, although he was never married, so his potential union to Fox would be his first.
The most daringly-dressed couple at Sunday night's MTV VMAs may not be engaged right now, but we think it's only a matter of time. After all, a source told US Weekly that the Bloody Valentine musician would "marry her in a heartbeat." How exciting!
