It’s now no secret that Prince Harry is pushing for a reconciliation with his family, with peace talks between his aides and the King’s communications secretary taking place at the Royal Overseas League in London last month!
Back in May, Prince Harry said in a BBC interview that he particularly wanted to make amends with his father, King Charles, because life is “precious,” and neither of them knew how much time the King, who is currently battling cancer, had left.
King Charles reportedly still has his reservations, but he is said to be more open to making it happen than Prince William, who is still firmly of the opinion that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle shouldn’t be let back in because he doesn’t think they can be trusted.
Meghan Markle Is Worried That Prince Harry Will Be Persuaded To File For Divorce If He Wants To Reconcile With His Family
Speaking of the former Suits actress, she is reportedly also open to making amends, but she's worried her husband is now so desperate to reconnect with his family that he'd be willing to do whatever it takes… even if it means filing for divorce.
"Meghan knows it's wise for them to rebuild ties with the royals, but the pace of it all has left her rattled. She feels like things are slipping out of her hands, especially now that Harry's calling the shots without checking in with her the way he once did," an insider told RadarOnline.
"She's afraid the royals are trying to win Harry back while sidelining her in the process," they continued, adding: "She's made it clear to him that he has to respect their partnership and not shut her out of these decisions."

If we are to believe reports, the Spare author is taking the lead with the reconciliation while Meghan takes a back seat – a strategy both of them allegedly think is the best way to get the results they want.
"Harry's stepped up to handle the talks himself, partly because he knows Meghan, despite his love for her, can be perceived as confrontational," the insider explained.
"But this whole situation is way outside her comfort zone," they continued, adding that "she's increasingly paranoid the royals are working to break them up."

Meghan Markle Doesn't Want History To Repeat Itself
Meghan's fears may not be unfounded. She's reportedly worried history could repeat itself, which is in reference to the very public breakdown of King Charles and the late Princess Diana's marriage. If you recall, the late Queen Elizabeth II, after consulting with the Archbishop of Canterbury and Prime Minister John Major, sent letters to both parties suggesting that divorce was "desirable."
"She's clinging to the hope that this doesn't backfire and end with them manipulating him to turn on her. As the reconciliation process moves forward, parallels to the Queen's direct and uncompromising letter to Charles and Diana loom large," the insider shared.
They concluded: "With old wounds still fresh, Meghan's anxiety centers on whether history might repeat itself – and whether her partnership may once again be deemed expendable in service of royal repair."
