Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were met with a warm reception as they began their visit to Australia, arriving in Melbourne on Tuesday, April 14.
The couple is in the country for a four-day, privately funded trip focused on philanthropy, mental health initiatives, and commercial projects, including support for Invictus Australia and a luxury wellness retreat.
On the first day of engagements, the As Ever founder wore a look by Australian designer Karen Gee while meeting patients and staff at the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne. Her outfit featured a sleeveless black midi dress with gold button detailing, paired with black pumps.

The 44-year-old styled her hair in a sleek ponytail and accessorized with gold heart-shaped earrings by Real Fine Studio, a Cartier Love bracelet, and her Welsh gold wedding band.
Recently, Meghan has faced criticism online over oversized tailoring and fashion choices, but this time around, reactions were largely positive.

Meghan Markle And Prince Harry Return To Australia Since 2018
Prince Harry and the former actress previously visited Australia in 2018 for the Invictus Games, during which they announced they were expecting their first child, Archie.
During this year's trip, Meghan made a solo visit to a homelessness services center where she helped serve food, while Prince Harry spoke at the InterEdge Psychosocial Safety Summit about workplace mental health.
Meghan was also scheduled to headline a “girls’ weekend” retreat in Sydney connected to the Her Best Life podcast.
The visit was widely described in the media as a “faux-royal” tour and, unlike traditional royal engagements, it was privately funded rather than supported by the taxpayer-funded Sovereign Grant.
