Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Split Professionally To Avoid Further Flops
While Prince Harry and Meghan's first deals in Hollywood were as a joint brand—their television production company, Archewell and their Netflix deal, for example—they have both made efforts recently to take on solo endeavors. And as Prince Harry reportedly still has quite a big fanbase on his own, we can see why they are keen to go their separate ways for the time being!
Prince Harry has made a few trips to New York, Lesotho, and London for different events related to his philanthropy work over the past few months. Meghan, on the other hand, tends to stay at home base in California to work on her lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard, as well as her new Netflix show, With Love, Meghan.
Insiders have reportedly insisted that their professional separation is strictly business, and they are able to be a happy family once they are together. "They can be apart without any jealousy," a source close to the couple explained. "But it's crucial they come together as a family."
'Independent' Meghan Markle Reportedly Didn't Want To Be A 'Package Deal' With Prince Harry
Most recently, Prince Harry and Meghan released a mini-docuseries with Netflix called Polo about elite polo players on their journey to the U.S. Open Polo Championship. However, reviews weren't glowing, with one of Prince Harry's former polo pals calling it "humiliating," and also "tacky" and "cringe." Ouch!
As well as their joint ventures flopping, insiders are claiming that the former Suits actress, who is now back on Instagram, wasn't happy with always being linked to her husband professionally, hence why their professional separation seems to make sense.
"Meghan got tired of always being a package deal," an insider dished, according to Ok! "She's long been super independent, which has caused some tension, but now she and Harry are on the same page."
The source reiterated that their time apart is nothing to worry about, adding: "While others might consider the long-distance nature of their relationship a big deal, Harry and Meghan don't." Hopefully their romantic relationship will last longer than their professional one!
