On Friday, August 1st, the As Ever founder was photographed enjoying an afternoon on the Santa Claus Beach in Carpinteria, California, alongside her husband and their son, Archie. According to reports from TMZ, which obtained photos of the family out and about, Archie was receiving surf lessons, with his parents cheering him on from the shore while chatting with friends.
Instead of rocking a stylish bathing suit, the California native wore an outfit she had been seen in several times before joining the royal family and getting engaged to Prince Harry, which consisted of a classic white button-down shirt and some denim shorts. The shorts were teeny tiny and ripped, adding a little edge to the very put-together beach look. She walked around in the sand barefoot and had on a large woven sunhat and dark sunglasses. The Duke was looking pretty casual himself, wearing a black T-shirt and what may have been a pair of black swim shorts.
It doesn't come as much of a surprise that the couple's six-year-old son is taking surf lessons, given that his father has been an avid surfer for years. However, what was surprising was seeing the family out and about, enjoying time on a public beach, as most of the time, they tend to keep their lives very private.

The famous couple have been buzzing in the media lately, as in the span of a few months, the prince lost his famous court battle for more security, citing it was too dangerous for his family to visit the UK, and there were reports that Netflix would not be renewing their $100M deal after the mom-of-two's lifestyle series, With Love, Meghan, did not do well in ratings.
Despite the drama, it looks like they decided to take things to the next level and enjoy a day on a public beach, which surprised many internet users who saw the pictures on social media and flooded the comments sections with their opinions, some negative, some positive.
One Instagram user wrote that it looked like the family was "living their best lives."
