Meghan Markle’s half-sister didn’t hold back regarding her opinions on the Harry & Meghan Netflix docuseries and Prince Harry’s bombshell memoir, Spare, as she has insisted that so much of what the royal couple have said are “lies” – especially when it comes to the alleged “rift” between their family, and Meghan trying to depict their family as divided!

Samantha Markle Calls Family Rift ‘Fake News’

“It’s been a weird journey for me, seeing the media try to create a disconnect between, you know, this rift between a normal family, that was never really a rift until fake news came along,” Samantha Markle said on Fox Nation’s Tucker Carlson Today.

“Meghan is, contrary to rumors, she’s not my – I’m not her stepsister. I’m not some disconnected sibling raised somewhere else, and then brought together later in life. We pretty much grew up as a normal family. My brother and I were older siblings,” the 58-year-old continued, in reference to their 56-year-old brother, Thomas Markle Jr. “When she was born, she was brought home from the hospital to our house.”

"We weren't a family apart, any more than any other normal family. I had my apartment and a job, my brother had his. But we were still only 10 minutes away from Meg," she added.

"But the moral of that story is that, even when [Meghan's parents] divorced and there were two separate households, we were always 10 minutes away. So naturally, you still interact like a normal family. During the week, you come hang out, you go places on the weekend, you have holidays together."

The Origins Of Meghan Markle's 'Princess Pushy' Name

Samantha also went on to address her The Diary Of Princess Pushy’s Sister Part 1 memoir, in particular where the name 'Princess Pushy' actually came from, as well as Meghan's allegations in the docuseries that Samantha only changed her last name to Markle *after* she and Prince Harry started dating, claiming, "She was lying, absolutely."

"When all of this was happening, and the fake news media was out there, the headlines were out there, I was looking at this going, 'wait a minute, I never called her Princess Pushy,'" she confessed.  "That's a media construct, and that's not how I talk. And I never said she's got a soft spot for gingers. That's British jargon, that's not how I talk. Princess Pushy was created by a tabloid." She added: "So it works for [Harry and Meghan], but she was comfortable applying those labels to me, being upset at me, without knowing what I really said."

And in regards to Samantha changing her name, she proved that she has gone by Samantha Markle for much longer than her half-sister alleged, by showing a petition for a name change way back in 1997 as well as her college diploma which shows her last name as Markle.

Samantha Claims Race Was Not A Factor 'At All' During Meghan's Childhood

Carlson told Samantha that "everything" he reads about Meghan seems to have a "racial angle" attached to it, asking her, "Was race a huge factor in your lives as a family?" to which Samantha replied that it was not a factor "at all" in Meghan's childhood in Los Angeles.

"I don't know if that's because Hollywood is so blended, eclectic, cool. Everybody accepts everybody. And you're just creative, doing your own thing. Nobody ever mentioned it. So it was like, where'd that come from?" she said, which Carlson, who also grew up in Southern California, actually agreed with, saying he found it "weird" that Meghan said she was an "oppressed person of color living in a hostile white world."

Their Father Thomas Markle 'Paid For Every Penny' Of Meghan's Private Education

Samantha has previously slammed her half-sister for her rags to riches narrative, and she once again touched on how Meghan had a very privileged upbringing, including going to several private schools – the Little Red School House in Hollywood and then Immaculate Heart in Los Angeles – which were paid for by their father, Thomas Markle.

"I went to really good schools… I was in Chicago until I was about 12 and then moved to Southern California with dad. But we went to good schools. Dad started making more money by the time Meg came into the world. So the private schools were a shoo-in," Samantha said, adding that their father "paid for every penny" of Meghan's private education, including the "incredibly diverse," "upper crust" Immaculate Heart.

"The girls at Immaculate Heart came from all walks of life, all skin colors. And although it was a Catholic school, you know, not everybody that went there was Catholic," she continued, adding, "It was a great, stimulating environment, one that provided her with the opportunities that she always had, and maybe that's integral in where she is today."
