Melania Trump’s self-titled documentary is dropping on January 30th, but some insiders have gotten a sneak peak at the film and confirmed what the trailer suggested: there’s not a trace of Ivanka Trump. Rumors of Melania feuding quietly with her step-daughter have been around since Donald Trump’s first administration, and the absence of Ivanka in any clips of Melania’s new documentary doesn’t help in the squashing of these rumors, in fact, it only adds fuel to the fire. Melania Trump Excludes Ivanka Trump From Her Documentary
According to insiders speaking to Rob Shuter’s Substack, Ivanka’s absence from the film was not accidental. “Melania and Ivanka do not get along—not at all,” one source explained, and another added, “there’s real tension, and Melania made it clear she didn’t want Ivanka anywhere near this film.”
“There’s zero love lost,” the source continued, saying that “Ivanka’s absence is intentional.” Neither Ivanka nor Melania have addressed their supposed feud, but neither has really done anything to deny the rumors either.
Feud Rumors Intensify
This isn't the first time Melania has added some fuel to the fire when it comes to rumors that she doesn't get along with her step children. In her self-titled memoir, she wrote about what it was like to join a family that already had four grown children with no need for another mother. "Stepping into a marriage with Donald, I found myself navigating the intricate dynamics of his big family," Melania wrote, adding: "It demanded flexibility and openness."
Back during Donald Trump's first presidency, Ivanka was much more involved in the administration leading to rumors of an alleged "internal power struggle" between Ivanka and Melania as they both stepped into their roles alongside Donald Trump. Despite Ivanka not being involved at all this time around, it doesn't seem like her relationship with Melania has gotten any better.
